View of two ornate Victorian buildings, the Melrose Hotel at 130 South Grand Avenue (left) and an apartment or rooming house (known earlier as the Richelieu Hotel at 132? or 142?) both with verandas, domes, and elaborate ornamentation. A car is parked in the driveway. Hylen can be seen leaning against a lamppost. 2001-0707.
