Description
Connie and Robert begin the interview talking about Charles Yukl, a piano teacher, and the brutal murders he committed. For the majority of the interview, Robert and Connie discuss a number of topics ranging from Yukl’s childhood to criminal justice issues related to dealing with violent, recidivist criminals. In particular, Robert and Connie delve into Charles Yukl's childhood and the abuse he suffered at the hands of his father and the strange relationship that he had with his mother that were contributing factors in Yukl's crimes. They also discuss Yukl's wife and her proclivities that made them capable partners, even after Yukl was convicted for the murder of Suzanne Reynolds. In addition to talking about Charles Yukl’s life, Robert and Connie also discuss how the criminal justice system fails, often, to cope with severely violent recidivist offenders like Charles Yukl.
