A Navajo woman called Na da Kitche. Title transcribed from item. Signed on mount, "Frederick Monsen." Monsen's handwritten label on back says: "Navajo Woman of Ganado, Arizona. This woman (Na da Kitche) is wife of a prominent man of the tribe (Hostine Nez). She has a great reputation as a blanket weaver and is a splendid businesswoman - owns over a thousand sheep and many ponies."
