Description
Photograph of the exterior side of an adobe built on North Broadway by Don Enrique Sepulveda in Sonora Town, Los Angeles, ca.1905. The adobe, built in 1839, is shown here in obvious disrepair to the left, the ragged edge of a brick wall juts beyond its adjoining wall, which is losing its spackle. The roof beams are visible from the side and both shingles and beams are evidently caving inwards. The peak of the roof further in the background to the right seems crooked and pitched. The ground around the adobe is dusty and littered with sparse weeds and dry grasses.
