Description
Kettle papers (kami kamashiki) used to support the kettle when removed from the fire source during the charcoal procedure. Also used to support the incense container when it is placed in the tokonoma during an abbreviated tea gathering, when the charcoal fire is not built up in front of the guests. The band across the papers indicate that they have not been used.
