Photograph caption dated October 4, 1963 reads, "More than 100 relatives and friends gathered at an open house to honor Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Pittsford, North Hollywood, on their golden wedding anniversary. The Pittsfords, who were married in Ashland, Ohio, have three children and five grandchildren. Pittsford worked for the Board of Education for 25 years and has been a member of the Masonic Order for 46 years. He is a maintenance man for the Masonic Temple, Van Nuys. The couple has resided in the Valley since 1957."
