Photograph of the cemetery in back of the church of Mission San Gabriel, ca.1908. Gravemarkers, including crosses and stones, dot the cemetery way into the background. Some of the plots have iron or wood fences erected in small rectangles around them. A variety of trees grow here and there. Some of the legible markers read: "Amelia Higuera Pallesio e e dia [...] de Agosto de [...] a la edad de 9 años [...] meses", "Guadelupe B. Valencia, 1882-1906", "Mary Catherine Valencia died March 13, 1901, age 8 months, 20 days", ..."1905", "Sesilia Gomez Pallesio a la"..., "Aqui-descansa nos restos de Juan de Jesus Davis, natural de San Francisco, Nuevo Mexico, fallecio [...] Nov.
