Description: Scope/Content: August 8, 1982 Winfield Daily Courier newspaper article titled, "Little Laos: Refugees Rebuild Their Lives With Winfield Residents' Help," features Laotian community members who have sought refuge in Winfield with the help of local churches and residents and highlights their challenges in adjusting to their new lives. Despite the support provided by the community, job opportunities have become scarce and language barriers have created difficulties. Some families have even left Winfield due to the lack of jobs.
