Photograph article dated May 15, 1961 partially reads, "An attempt to send a 12-foot weather balloon into orbit over the Valley failed Saturday, but a group of junior high students have decided to try again next weekend. The attempt is part of a special project by physical science students at Mount Gleason Junior High School, 10965 Mount Gleason Ave., Sunland."
