Description
Photograph of the ship U.S.S. Constitution, or "Old Ironsides", docked in Los Angeles, [s.d.]. The large sailing vessel is at center and is tied up alongside a dock crowded with people. The ship has all of its sails stowed, but a single row of cannons protrudes from the sides. Three lifeboats are suspended near the stern of the shop, and a large American flag is flying from the rearmost mast at left. Several smaller boats, including two tug boats and a small motorboat are moored in front of and behind the old frigate. On the dock at left is a large warehouse decorated with patriotic banners. A sign on the roof reads "H 57 City of Los Angeles Flood Lines".
