Description
Lao-Mien woman's shawl with blue cross stitch designs on either end. Blue cross stich is more common among the Mien in Laos. Symbols depict grid stitched motifs of stars, squash flowers, and som, and cross stitched motifs of tiger's claws. The shawl is folded in half in the image.
