Description
Photo--black and white: Rudolph E. Oehlmann who owned and ran the Oehlmann Evaporator with his wife Maude beginning in the 1920s. By 1948 it was one of the largest dryers in the area with 10 kilns, but was destroyed by fire that year. When it was rebuilt, it became a combination dryer and cannery and entered into the canning business for the first time in 1949 and evolved into Manzana Products in Graton.
