Description
Photograph of an ancient sycamore tree in Highland Park's Sycamore Grove, ca.1920. There are actually three tree trunks growing from a single spot in the foreground on the right side of the image
they reach up past the top edge. There is a sign that says "No Ball Playing" posted on the trunk furthest to the left. In the grass on the left side of the image two people are lying on their stomachs in the shade, reading. There are several more trees behind a low wall of plants in the background.
