Photograph caption dated September 20, 1956 reads "GOP leaders recently gathered at Patio Restaurant in Van Nuys to draw campaign strategy for Valley Republican groups backing the Eisenhower-Nixon ticket for election in November. They are, left to right, seated, Assemblyman Pat McGee, Frank Goettling and Congressman Joe Holt. Standing, left to right, are Robert Eastman, Les Jones, Martha Janney, Joseph Close, Harold E. White and Stuart Bankhardt Sr."
