Description
Photograph of Cascade Falls in Yosemite National Park, ca.1900. A side view of water tumbling off the edge of a cliff sits in the top center. The view of the initial descent of the waterfall is obstructed by a protruding rock formation in front of the water. The water meets the ground in a fury of mist that creates a cloud of water in the center of the image. Thick foliage is visible in the foreground of the image while the rugged edges of the cliff side can be seen on the left side.
