Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph dated July 31, 1963 shows Gary R. Leonard and John Edwards, his attorney, at the Van Nuys Municipal Court pleading innocent to charges he assaulted a police officer at the Van Nuys police station. Mr. Leonard is also being accused of being Nazi sympathizer. However, he is adamant that both accusations are false.
