Description
Title taken from image. Features "Cathedral Square", the main piazza in Milan, Italy, named after and dominated by the Duomo, a Gothic Cathedral. In the foreground are streetcars, pedestrians and the archway of other buildings. The statue of King Victor Emmanuel II of Italy is visible towards the left side of the image. Sent to Bessie Bartlett by "Cherlee", who writes "I guess it is a case up giving up the career. It is too hard for me. And better that I give it up now than wait and become gray over it's many difficulties." Postmark on card is not fully visible. Monochromatic; with divided back. Described as a view card, based on realistic image of a specific location.
