Description
"In the summer of 1901, the Southern Pacific Railroad Company built a railroad spur and station originally called Fair Oaks Bridge Depot. The railroad spur helped the budding fruit colony grow and prosper as farmers and the local Fair Oaks Fruit Company could now ship fruit to local and out-of-state markets. The train ran only twice a day, leaving for Sacramento in the morning and returning around three in the afternoon."
