Description
Three-quarters length portrait. 1991-0577. Also have negative: no. 23,381 (4x5 in.) Mary Eudora Garoutte was born in 1863 in Yolo County. Worked as a teacher before joining the staff of the California State Library in 1899. In 1903 placed in charge of the California Dept., building up a collection of California historical materials. She died in Alameda in 1943.
