Orange mount, purple back.
Colonial Administration Buildings for the Colony of Vancouver Island; architect was Herman Otto Tiedemann; known as "the birdcages" (or "bird cages") due to their style of architecture; built in 1859 and replaced in 1898.
James Bay Bridge built across James Bay in 1859, replaced in 1900.
