Photograph caption dated December 19, 1958 reads "Shown crossing each other in this photo are conveyor belts of the Blue Diamond Corporation's Sun Valley Plant. On the left is the screening and washing plant containing bunkers from which sand and gravel may be loaded directly into trucks. In the right center is the batch plant. The Sun Valley plant has been in operation since 1929, playing an important part in the growth of the Valley by providing nearly 10 million tons of such basic building materials as rock, sand, gravel and concrete."
