Description
This house at 340 Castro Street originally belonged to Dr. Arthur McFarlane. In 1925, it was purchased by undertaker, William J. Anway and became the W.J. Anway Funeral Home until 1941. The business was taken over by Bay Hays and Howard Wyant and renamed Hays and Wyant Chapel Funeral Directors. By the late 1950s, Bay Hays had relocated his business to Cuesta Drive. Mountain View, California.
