Description
William Henry Eddy (1817-1859) came to California in 1846 with the Donner Party. His wife and three children (the last one born in California) died in the Sierras. He settled in San Jose. He died in Petaluma in 1859 of "paralytic rheumatism." He died in Petaluma in 1859 and was buried in San Jose, at Oak Hill Cemetary.
