Description
Designed in an Italian Gothic style by Joseph Cather Newsom for J. T. Fitzgerald in 1903, this is the oldest reinforced concrete house in Los Angeles. It was designated Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument #258 in 1982.
Exterior of the Fitzgerald House, also known as Elegant Manor, located at 3115 W. Adams Boulevard. Verso of photo reads, "Fitzgerald House, corner of Arlington & Adams Blvd. is being demolished," which did not occur.
