Photograph caption dated April 12, 1957 reads "Firemen arrived at paint store at 5437 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood, early today to be greeted by a raging structure fire being fed by volatile paint. Firemen raced up ladders to roof and began to open sky vents to relieve pressure inside the storage area. Upon release, flames and smoke shot skyward, visible over most of North Hollywood."
