Photograph caption dated January 17, 1957 reads, "Chuck Chapman, right, secretary of North Hollywood YMCA, introduces Bruce Gair, North Hollywood and Valleywide Hi-Y Boy of Year, to Phil Eckert, North Hollywood Rotary Club president. Valley Hi-Y Boy competition is sponsored annually by Rotary. Following his graduation is June, Bruce plans to study to become YMCA secretary."
