Description
Landscape view of the Ruo River with thick vegetation on either side, in the distance can be seen three people in the river, two with loads. The Ruo River joins the Shire River at Chiromo which bordered Nyasaland and Portuguese East Africa. The Ruo River was part of the route to the Mihecani mission in Lomwe. ❧ From a Photograph Album of the Blantyre Mission, Nyasaland [Malawi] and the Mihecani Mission, Portuguese East Africa [Mozambique].
