Description
"12. – Kiniama – Battage du sorgho. Elizabethstad – Het dorschen van den sorgho." Children take turns smashing sorghum grain with wooden bats. A missionary father oversees the work. "Missions Salésiennes du Congo Belge ̶ Première Série. Salesiaansche Zendingen in Belgisch Congo ̶ Eerste Reeks." The following information is printed on the back of the postcard: "Grace à votre charité nous avons pu fonder des Missions jusqu’ aux extrémités de la terre. Le Vénérable Don Bosco. Met hulp uwer m milddadigheid hebben wij zendingen kunnen stichfen in alle gewesten. De Eerbiedwaardie Don Bosco ." There is no handwriting on the back.
