Lewis MacAdams, poet, activist, journalist, as well as author of a dozen books and tapes of poetry. His poems have appeared in many anthologies over the last twenty-five years. Here he is seen signing his book, a new collection of poems, "The River: Books One, Two, & Three" at an ALOUD book-signing at Central Library. Also pictured is Louise Steinman, Cultural Programs Director for the Los Angeles Public Library. She has curated its award-winning ALOUD lecture, performance, and author series for the past decade.
