Description
Photograph of four views of New Mexico (Mexican?) architecture, showing cathedral entrances, [s.d.]. The frame is divided into four equal, rectangular parts, each containing a separate image: The top left frame shows a tall, arched doorway of a cathedral, decorated to either side by statuary and relief carving. It is enclosed by a wrought-iron fence. The top right panel shows a second, tall, arched entranceway, although it is not enclosed by a fence, nor is it decorated by statues or carving to its sides. Carving does grace the top of the doorway, however. The lower left panel shows what appears to be the inside of a courtyard, a two-story structure a balcony supported by a colonnade. The overhang of both the ground level and the balcony is supported by arches. Finally, the lower right panel shows a detail shot of the courtyard architecture shown in the third panel. Some of the sparse carved decoration along the top of the archways can be seen.
