Description: Hollywood director William Desmond Taylor was murdered Feb. 2, 1922 and the crime went unsolved. Fifteen years later the brother of Taylor, Denis Gauge Deane-Tanner (Shown here), was cleared of suspicion of the murder through the efforts of his wife, Mrs. Ada Deane-Tanner.
