Eugene T. Gualco. Caption: Supervisor Eugene Gualco speks to a group during ground-breaking ceremonies for a Citrus Heights-Foothill Branch Library yesterday. The new library, a 12,000 square-foot building, will be built on nearly three acres at the southeast corner of Auburn Boulevard and Van Maren Lane. It will house 65,000 books, 125 periodicals, records and cassettes and will have a community meeting room with a kitchen.
