Description
Large electric "dynamo" direct current generator made by Charles F. Brush's The Brush Electric Co. of Cleveland, Ohio. A similar Brush Electric generator from the same time period was used to power the lights on the electric light tower in downtown San Jose, c. 1881. This model, No. Z152, was first patented April 24, 1877, with patents reissued through 1886.
