Photograph caption dated October 9, 1964 reads, "'Indian Summer' will be the theme of the second annual Family Fall Festival sponsored by the Coalettes, women's group of the West Valley Church of Religious Science, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on the park-like church grounds, 7101 Oso Ave., Canoga Park. Members of the 'Eager Beavers,' from left, Duane, Marsha and Kay Richard, practice songs and skits they will perform at the event, a benefit for the church building program. Mrs. Ed Lowery, general chairman, said that features will include Christmas gift table, white elephant booths, games, food, Daisy the Clown and her miniature, dance contests and entertainment. Committee members are Mmes. Warren Burtis, Carl McMillan, Jim Archer, Norman Williams, Al Block, Paul Clegg, Larry Blue and Vi Holzmann. The men, under the direction of Fred Pickerall and John Nelson, and the youth group, led by Roy Marshall, will be at the game booths. Mrs. Robert Keidatz is president."
