Ron Vandergroen was an Equipment Operator operating at the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge when the Loma Prieta Earthquake occurred. In this interview Ron discusses how he and other Equipment Operators closed off the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and guided traffic off the structure.
