Description
Photograph was edited for publication purposes.
This is what you might call the "White Glove Brigade," although the gloves are called editor gloves, and are used by all employees in the film editing department. Gloves protect hands from being cut and keeps acid off them, and at the same time, protects film from fingerprints. All cans of film pictured on the shelves are commercials. Both 16mm and 35 mm film is used by television. This department, which the center claims is best such equipped in L.A., handles about 100,000 feet of film per week. They try to keep this room as dust proof as possible, for obvious reasons. Photograph dated December 13, 1952.
