Photograph was edited for publication purposes Nudie Cohn is famous for making custom desiginer wear for famous country western singers, television personalities, movie stars and celebrities such as Elvis, Cher, Roy Rogers, Elton John, to name only a few. He owns Nudie's Rodeo Tailors in North Hollywood, CA. Photograph caption dated February 9, 1965 reads, "But, according to Ray Decker, service manager of Roth Pontiac in Burbank, shown looking at a panel of the $21,000 silver-dollar-laden car, an estimated $500 in coinage was taken off the upholstery. The car, owned by Nudie, owner of a North Hollywood western shop, was reported stolen Wednesday and was recovered Sunday on a fire road off Fryman Drive near Mulholland Drive. Other ornaments on the car were left intact."
