1 column, 23 lines, written on recto along the fibers.
Four hands: 1st (lines 1-18. 22-23) small cursive; 2nd (line 18) signature of Chairemon in small cursive; 3rd (line 19) signature of Maron in small cursive; 4th (lines 20-21) signature of komogrammateus in regular cursive.
Between lines 21 and 22 there is a blank of 4 cm. Margins: top, 1.7 cm.; left, 2 cm.
On verso in black ink: "T 164"
Verso otherwise empty.
Chairemon and Maron inform Horos, village scribe of Tebtunis, of the death of a person (name lost in lacuna). The text is dated to the 31st year of the Emperor Commodus in the Egyptian month Choiak (between Nov. 27 and Dec. 26, 190 A.D.)
