Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on December 17, 1967 states: "The newest portion of Colusa County's first 13 1/2 miles of freeway is shown in foreground of photo which looks north toward Arbuckle. This stretch reaches more that five miles into town, where it links with the rest of the four-lane highway. The freeway was opened to traffic last month."
