Description
Photograph of the cemetery at the Pala Mission, ca.1935. In the foreground, three short, stout crosses are planted in the ground, possibly gravestones. At center stands a two-tiered bell tower topped with a cross. To the right, a statue of a woman praying is mounted atop a brick pedestal, behind which is a large tree. What appear to be cans litter the ground. To the extreme right, the beginning of a picket fence can be seen.
