Photograph caption dated December 16, 1953 reads, "Mrs. Josephine Bissett, singing teacher at California Academy of Music, Studio City, first brought idea of Teen Canteen Dance to North Hollywood Junior Chamber of Commerce, which sponsored first event last month. She is now assisting Burbank's Junior Chamber of Commerce in a similar affair."
