Photograph was edited for publication purposes
Photograph caption dated November 25, 1961 reads "Curtain creators are Morris Gold and Mrs. Max Levine, Los Angeles. They designed and made the Parochet, or curtain, covering the Holy Ark, at Temple Beth Meier, 11725 Moorpark St., Studio City. The design includes the crown of the Torah and the traditional two lions and stars of David handstitched in gold on deep blue background. Dedication ceremonies will be at 8 p.m. today."
