Photograph of a close-up view of a centipede, ca.1900. The centipede is laid out in a straight line at center. The body is divided in to many small sections by light indentations. Many small, sharp legs extend from the body on either side. On the right two relatively large limbs can be seen while what appears to be a head can be seen on the left.
