Birgit Norholdt fortæller: Forberedelsen til at påtage mig undervisning af søndagsskolelærere på Taiwan var et 3-4 mdr.s ophold på Hongkong Lutheran Theological Seminary, hvor jeg fulgte undervisningen i Christian Education både på engelsk og kinesisk (Efterårssemestret 1977). Tilbage i Taiwan fandt jeg en medarbejder, Joyce Yang (Yang Hue Ai), som havde fået undervisning på Teologisk Seminarium i Taichung (ikke luthersk). Fra 1978-84 afholdt vi kurser i de forskellige menigheder (7 forskellige lutherske missioner) ud over hele Taiwan. Desuden solgte vi det lutherske søndagsskolemateriale "Nyt Liv", der er fælles for Taiwan og Hongkong

Taiwan Lutheran Church/TLC. Education of Sunday school teachers. The Lutheran material "New Life" is introduced. It was used in Taiwan and Hongkong, and was available in English, as well. From right: Missionary Birgit Norholdt and her team member, Joyce Yang (Yang Hue Ai), 20th February 1986. Birgit Norholdt is telling: The preparation for accepting to provide education to the Sunday school teachers at Taiwan was a 3-4 months' stay at the Hongkong Lutheran Theological Seminary, following the teaching about Christian Education, in English and Chinese languages. (The autumn semester 1977). – Returning to Taiwan, I found a team member, Joyce Yang (Yang Hue Ai) with education from the Theology Seminary at Taichung (not Lutheran). From 1978-84 we conducted courses to various congregations (7 different Lutheran Missions) all over Taiwan. In addition, we distributed and sold the Lutheran Sunday school material "New Life", shared by Taiwan and Hongkong.
