Description
This circa 1975 postcard shows a statue and hall, dedicated to the memory of the noted Chinese political theorist Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, often refered to as China's version of George Washington. Located at 415 China Town Mall, between I and J streets, both statue and hall were built in 1971, making them just one of two buildings in the United States dedicated to Sun, the other in San Francisco.
