A man stands before the group wearing a long-sleeved shirt, pants, vest, and a hat that shades his eyes. The group of children can be seen standing behind the man. Most of the girls wear dresses, while one small child is naked. The three-story buildings and exterior ladders of the Hopi pueblo is visible in the background. Little vegetation is evident.
