Photograph of a Soboba (Saboba, Saboda [sic]) Indian temescal, a dugout sweathouse, on the reservation near Hemet, Riverside County, ca.1885. The low conically-shaped thatched structure can be seen covered with mud around the base. A doorway provides access at left. Photoprint reads: "Luiseno".
