Description
Photograph of a view of the bluffs and beach at Santa Monica's Palisades Park, ca.1915. The steep cliffs are at center and run away from the viewer. The beach is at left and is a broad sandy expanse bordered on the left by the calm ocean and on the right by a road. Running parallel to the road is a railroad and a line of utility poles. There are two paths visible near the top of the bluffs at right, and both are lined with short wooden fences. The top of the cliff is covered with a large number of short palm trees. Three short docks jut into the water from the beach in the distance at left.
