Description
Photograph of exterior of American Encaustic Tiling Company, ca.1920. At center, the large brick exterior of the building extends from the far left to the right. Two rows of twelve windows are visible along the side of the building with various windows open. Above the top row of windows, a small sign near the center of the structure reads: "American Encaustic Tiling Co". In front of the building, a set of railroad tracks can be seen. A series of railroad cars are visible to the left of the image. Further in the foreground, two utility poles can be seen. A series of separated pipes lie in a line next to utility poles on both sides. In the extreme background, additional utility poles and wires can be seen.
