Photograph of Elias Jackson "Lucky" Baldwin's Rancho Santa Anita Queen Anne Cottage (the club house), viewed across the lake in Arcadia, Los Angeles, ca.1900. Tall palm trees and lush vegetation obscure the French-style clubhouse across the river that runs through the centerground of the photo. A cobblestone wall has been built as an artificial bank to the property. Vegetation leans in from outside the frame, obscuring some of the photo's left side.
